He is also a man with a huge passion for gardening and an infinite love for all creatures under the sun- no matter how small and/or ugly they may be. Withdrawing from his addiction forces him to face often shocking events in his past, prompting this memoir which is also a superbly written guide for the gardening enthusiast - a wonderful wonderful writer!
